Corporate information
Processtechnologies is an independent digital journal. It is not a plant operator, a software vendor, a systems integrator, or a security consultancy.
Purpose of the site
The journal publishes essays on digital process technologies, industrial automation, data processing, software automation, data security and system integration. The readers are in the United Kingdom.
Editorial principles
Each essay keeps the facts, limits, examples and questions of its source. The journal does not add licences, awards, partnerships, client counts, prices or contact details that the source does not state. Names of methods and technical practices appear only where an essay discusses them.
How materials are prepared
The essay is set in reading order, with the headings the source already uses. Images sit with finished passages. They illustrate the topic. They are not diagrams of a named installation or evidence from a project.
Limit of responsibility
The pages are general information. They are not engineering advice for a particular plant, a security audit, a product specification, or a substitute for a qualified design review. A change to a live process needs sources and checks beyond this journal.
Responsible reading
The essays say where a pilot should come before a wide rollout, and where safety, data protection and validation still sit with the organisation that runs the system. Those limits stay part of the piece.
